MY STORY ————
Not the
obvious
route.
I came to professional cycling late — from triathlon, at 32. Most people thought the window had passed. Two and a half years later: nine UCI wins, three Swiss national time trial titles, and a national team jersey.
"I don't race to survive the peloton. I race to find out exactly what I'm capable of. That question still doesn't have an answer."
Outside of cycling, I work as a police officer at Kantonspolizei Zürich. The dual career isn't a compromise — it's a choice. It keeps me grounded, gives me discipline, and makes for a story that's worth telling.
I'm from Graubünden — the only canton with three official languages. That's not a coincidence. I grew up knowing how to cross boundaries, communicate across cultures, and find my way in terrain that doesn't make it easy.
