About me

What is there to tell about me?

Well, let’s start with the most important: Power and Dynamics captivate me and I love things that are in motion. Preferably, that’s me on a bike. Me, that’s a 32 year old girl from Grison, speaking among others the rare language called Rhaeto-Romance (that’s the fourth national language of Switzerland). Also, I am a daughter, sister, girlfriend, friend, police officer and sometimes I also am annoying (source: boyfriend).

And how did I get into cycling?

As a kid, I tried all different kind of sports - rhythmic gymnastics, athletics, climbing. I even played soccer for 10 years. With the age of 25 I discovered my passion for endurance sports and started to do triathlon. Back then, my aero bike was already my favourite possession. As a consequence, I signed up for different Time Trial races. One of these races was the Swiss National Individual Time Trial Championships (ITT) in 2022. The victory changed my life almost over night in a way I could never have imagined. I competed at the ITT European and World Championships in the same year, where the first event was successful with a 9th place out of 29, the second one a bit less glory due to a crash.

It was never my dream to become a professional cyclist. Now that it is my life, I cannot think of a more exciting and rewarding profession.

Anything else?

A lot, yes. I am fascinated about the universe and wish to spend a day with an astrophysicist. I have so many colorful socks, that I could wear a fresh pair every day for one whole year. I love to (re)decorate my apartment. And I can spend hours listening to the same one song (I won’t tell you which one, so you can’t judge. Little hint: I am a 90ies kid). Also, I am addicted to puzzleling. Since I know about this, I don’t start them anymore. So it’s actually not my hobby anymore. I just sometimes think about them. I love to be in nature. My favourite spot is a little hunting cabin in the mountains of Grison, far away from civilisation - where there is no other noise than the waterfall from the other side of the valley.
